awwww, thank you kerry!!!

i agree about the setlist diversity - it must be that they're listening to you guys. as for me, ask mrrockandroll how many times i can listen to the same CD in my car without tiring of it! repetition doesn't bother me, as long as it's greay stuff. that said, it's been reeeeeeally excellent to get to witness such a diverse sampling of their catalogue the past month. and meet some fabulous people. and drink some decadent wine. and see the most beautiful countryside. i think the last month tops just about anything else i've ever done in my entire life. ah bliss.

Agreed -- that looks like an amazing set.

Though I think Fade Away is a Buddy Holly cover (unless it's not the song I'm thinking of).

Oh! maybe the stones did a cover of his song. I only remember the Stones doing it. It was an amazing set and a great crowd, lots of singing along with the guys. Tom asked if anyone would come up and be Ian for them singing 78 and this wasted guy climbs up on the stage (which was hysterical from our angle, all his hairy arse hanging out as he struggled to get up there.) He was so drunk he could hardly sing, he fell forwards on to all fours in between the guys and someone came to help him off stage before he fell off as he nearly knocked the guitars over. It'll be interesting to see if Tom takes that chance again for the rest of the week. Ben sung Black Eyed Dog but no Free to Run! I was a bit gutted about that.

We didn't see Kettlewitch but managed to say Hello to SamO before being evicted by a proper misery guts bouncer. Roll on Wednesday.

I recorded about half the set last night from the front row. It was an amazing gig. I'll post the links up at lunch time hopefully.
