If you go onto the royal mail site (I googled it but it's probably royalmail.co.uk), you can pay for and print off your postage online - you have to set up an account, and faff about with all sorts of forms, but it's useful if you can't get to a post office or can't be doing with queues. Which would be for anyone who works standard office hours really...

It took me about 45 mins to do both the us & uk ones, but on the plus side I guess it'll be quicker if I do anything in the future.

urhangovergirl: theme was songs with word "rock" in title, her cover was Dr. Seuss how the grinch stole xmas
jefe13: theme was songs about fear, his cover was a skull wearing a santa hat and wearing sunglasses
ogtay: theme was a conversation in song titles, his cover was a hand-drawn picture of a crazy man
my theme was the human body in song titiles, my cover was a picture of frankenstein's monster and the monster's bride
mytvc15: her theme was locations, her cover was a map
Rex Kramer: his theme was cheesy love songs, his cover was a picture of a neon heart
Orange: her theme was songs about vices, she hand-drew pictures of people partaking of said vices
ocean: his theme was the 2008 election/politics in general, his art was an abstract of his own creation (I'm pretty sure it was his own)]
rabidog: her theme was Philly bands, her cover was her own art
cookeegirl: her theme was songs with an item of clothing in the title, her cover was a picture of clothing designs
Daffy: her theme was murder, her cover was a picture of a straw hat
Leocadia: her theme was songs you're embarrassed to admit to own, her cover was pure text art
Ryn: her cover was songs parents find inappropriate for children, her cover was a bastardization of a Norman Rockwell painting
jasondent: his theme was songs starting with the letter R, he didn't have a cover but everyone got a nifty hard cd case
squirrel: her theme was modes of transportation, her cover was a public transit bus
LostPhil: his theme was war and peace, his cover was an image of a mushroom cloud and a tree

I think that's everybody that participated. Sorry if I forgot anyone.

There's a few options for how to actually print it out. The easiest for me of all the covers I've done was to scan the picture into my computer, then assign it to the album art of the first song in my swap in itunes, create a playlist of the songs on my disc (in order) and them use itunes' software to create coverart which handily includes a list of the songs and artists. I have done it in MSPaint as well, but it's easier in iTunes.

I don't know if you have a printer, so that may be a problem for you. I'm sure something can be arranged, though.

That sounds AWESOME!!! How did I miss that?!

Alright you guys, I have a nice stack of CDs sitting here, and a few late ones in the mail, or on their way. We have a couple unexpected newbies to help shake things up.

If for some reason you had to drop out, or have any problems with ANYTHING, let me know. We'll work it out somehow, anyhow.

I worked somewhere around 60 hrs this week, had a cold that taught me how 80 feels and our computer broke down, but things are looking better for next week, and I can actually get started. I'm hoping no later than mid March to get all this into everyone's mail boxes.

/^yeah?

alright, shooting for next week here. I think I got about 96%. I know it's taking awhile, but I wanted to get as many people in as possible. That means waiting a little longer. also, Ive been slammed busy, and most of the CDs I had made to keep on track are totally not going to cut it. one stupid skip, three hours of work gone! lol

thankyou so much!

I will post track listings soon, but our external hard drive is being used right now for something else, so I can't pull the songs up
